We are a small commercial bee business located near the town of Flasher, North Dakota. We began TJO Bees in 2012 and now manage roughly 1,100 hives during the summer.

Our bees spend the summer foraging across the prairies and hayfields of Grant and Morton counties in southwest North Dakota. In late fall our bees are transported to the central valley of California. In January the bees are prepared for almond pollination which typically runs from early February until the middle of March.
Following pollination, we raise our own queens and rebuild colony numbers for the next summer. In early May the bees return to North Dakota.
